Why Meinhart's

Why Choose Meinhart's

A local crew that shows up, plans the job carefully, and leaves the site clean.

Locally Owned & Operated

Meinhart's is a local South Jersey business, not a national call center — when you call, you're reaching the people doing the work.

Free, No-Obligation Estimates

Every estimate is free. We'll assess your tree in person and give you a clear price before anything is scheduled.

Careful, Planned Approach

Every job — from a single backyard tree to a large removal near a house — starts with an on-site assessment and a clear plan before any work begins.

Full Cleanup Included

We don't leave a job half-finished. Branches are chipped, debris is hauled away, and the site is left clean.

True professionals, great crew, showed up with all necessary equipment. Guys made quick work of a technical tree that sat overtop of a shed between a pool and vinyl fence. They left the property clean with nothing left behind. Highly recommended.

Back for a 2nd review on a different well-done job! This time Meinhart's took care of a very tall Pine in the front of my property. This tree was about 50-60 feet tall and we wanted it removed because a heavy limb had snapped during a winter storm a month prior, luckily causing no damage to our cars. It was a sign to get the tree removed! Meinhart's again had a simple process for an estimate and the crew showed up on time as expected! Thinking the job might take two or more hours the four-team crew knocked it out in just one hour! Clean-up was fantastic, so many pine limbs and branches, and the trunk was carefully removed as well! We did not opt to get the stump grinded but it is an option Meinhart's offers to their customers if desired. Very impressed and grateful for a professional team as Meinhart's who worked quickly and safely. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Meinhart’s Tree Service. I was referred to them by our community management. I got about 5 quotes. When I called Meinhart’s the girl in the office was very warm, welcoming and professional. She scheduled me for an estimate, which I think happened next day. Joel was great, friendly and professional. He gave me the estimate, which was very reasonable compared to some others, and a much more professionally-run business than others with similar quotes. I made the right decision. They came the following week and cut the tree down pretty quickly, as it wasn’t a big tree (just an eyesore). A couple days later they came and ground out the stump and I didn’t even realize they were here. I recommend Meinhart’s highly and without reservation.

Meinhart's team was amazing from the start. We had a very large oak to remove and after meeting with them we felt confident they were up for the task. Scheduling was very easy. The communication was great- we had a delay for wind safety and they called and rescheduled immediately. We have so many gardens and they were extremely careful to save everything possible and the clean up was thorough. I want to particularly call out that during the process a gate was damaged- which sometimes these things happen. They quickly called in their fence expert, ordered parts and repaired the gate in a couple of days. Really amazing customer service and extremely fair pricing. Thank you!

Were recommended by a neighbor, so happy we called. Incredibly professional and friendly! From the first phone call to set up an estimate, the estimate itself, a helpful reminder, the service to the crew driving away leaving nothing but we'll trimmed trees! Price was fantastic, we worked with a different neighbor and got a discount since crews could do two jobs at adjoining properties. Would definitely recommend and will definitely use again in the future (hopefully not too soon 😀).

FAQs

Common Questions

How much does tree removal cost?

Tree removal cost depends on the tree's size, condition, location, and how accessible it is. We provide free, no-obligation estimates so you get an accurate price before any work begins, rather than a rough guess over the phone.

Do you provide free estimates?

Yes. Every estimate is free and comes with no obligation to book. Request one online or call us directly.

What happens to the wood after a tree is removed?

By default, branches are chipped and the trunk is cut and hauled away. If you'd like firewood-length rounds left on-site instead, just let us know when we provide your estimate.

Do you remove the stump?

Stump grinding can be added to any removal or scheduled as a standalone service. Let us know your preference and we'll include it in your estimate.

Can you remove trees near a house?

Yes. Removals close to a home or other structure are a routine part of our work — we plan the direction and method carefully, often using rigging, to protect what's nearby.

Do you offer emergency tree service?

Yes. If a tree or large limb has come down or is actively hazardous, call us directly rather than requesting an online estimate, so we can respond as quickly as possible.

What is stump grinding?

Stump grinding uses a machine to grind a stump and its major surface roots down below ground level, leaving wood chips in place of the stump so the area can be leveled, reseeded, or landscaped.

Do you haul away debris?

Yes, cleanup and debris removal is included as part of our standard process unless you'd prefer material left on-site.
